BIRTHSTONE
April's birthstone, the diamond, is renowned for its unparalleled brilliance and enduring beauty. Symbolizing love, strength, and eternity, diamonds have captivated humanity for centuries. Historically, diamonds were believed to possess supernatural powers, offering protection and strength to their wearers. Ancient Greeks considered diamonds to be tears of the gods, while in Indian culture, they were thought to be fragments of stars fallen to earth. Diamonds have been treasured throughout history, adorning royalty and symbolizing wealth and power. Today, they continue to hold significant symbolism, representing everlasting love and commitment, making them a timeless choice for engagement rings and cherished heirlooms.
THE HISTORY
Beautifully crafted with 5.24 carats of diamonds this silver head of Medusa phalera is a silver sculpted disc worn on the breast plate during parades by roman officers who it had been awarded to as a medal. It was an apotropaic symbol used to protect from and ward off negative energy much like an evil eye. Medusa symbolizes the untamed and unpredictable aspects of the native world and is interpreted as a symbol of strength, determination, female empowerment, and survival. The back is incredibly designed with medusas two sons. Pegasus the winged horse represents the power of creative spirit in all of us and Crysoar the golden warrior with his impressive strength
