Journal: Holiday 2024 Gift Guide
Welcome to my first post for my new website journal in which I will be bringing you favorites from my new collections, inspirations, gift guides, how to styling advice and what to wear for different occasions among other musings.
Since the holidays will be here soon, I thought my first post should be a gift guide that would cover different meaningful presents for all the loved ones in your life and to celebrate the various holidays that are soon to be here.
I am focusing on symbolic charms from my Trinetra Collection for the 2024 holiday season. The collection is inspired by the Sanskrit word Trinetra, which translates to signifying a higher level of perception and the ability to see beyond the ordinary. In creating this collection, I have sought to mix symbolism and deeply rooted meaning into each yellow gold and precious gemstone, three-dimensional charm that I hope will bring the wearer joy, comfort, and a feeling of renewal. I have included different universal cultural motifs and imagery that speak to luck, love, protection and guidance. These modern day interpretations of historical charms resonates on various levels, depending on where the wearer is in their life’s journey, where they have been, where they are going and what they need to fulfill their passions, believes and dreams. Many of my peers design beautiful meaningful pieces. However, I have worked to create a collection that I believe is unique to my aesthetic. Each piece is a multi-layered work of art, featuring crystal elements with hidden details beyond the surface and intricate designs in the back. Every time you look at one of the charms, you are meant to discover something new, something that will hopefully delight and captivate you.
Each charm I have chosen for the gift guide can be interpreted differently by the receiver. It can be worn alone on a yellow gold chain or be part of building of a charm bracelet or charm necklace with more added for other holidays and occasions.
Trinetra round Eclipse evil eye charm in yellow gold with diamonds, black onyx, turquoise, lapis under crystal. This is a symbol of protection on every level.
Trinetra painted Fortune’s Gate horseshoe charm in yellow gold with diamonds, lapis under crystal. For century this motif is the most widely recognized for luck. When the horseshoe is facing down, like ours it brings luck out into the world. When it faces up, it will bring luck to the wearer. We can customize it for the person you are gifting.
Trinetra Celestial Star crystal charm in yellow gold with set with diamonds and blue sapphire star in the center. Can mean “Let this be your lucky star” or follow you dreams or look up to the stars for your direction.
Trinetra Hand of Fortune Hamsa hand charm in yellow gold and precious stones with Kashyapa Mudra at back. The Hamsa hand is the hand of god and represents protection. Kashyapa Mudra is a yoga hand gesture that is said to promote positive energy. Together they protect from all negativity.
Trinetra yellow gold Iluminating Reverence cross charm with diamonds and colored gemstones including aquamarine, ruby, blue sapphire, emerald, citrine, amethyst, peridot, iolite, pink tourmaline, garnet, opal and black spinel. The cross in our collection signifies faith in a higher being and oneself.
Trinetra Radiant heart charm in yellow gold with diamonds, pink tourmaline under crystal. The heart characterizes passion, romantic and enduring love but also love for oneself, friends, family and mankind. It dates back to antiquity and for good reason. It is a symbol of the world.
Trinetra three-dimensional Eternal Bond padlock with key charm in yellow gold with diamonds and emeralds. In our collection it epitomizes a few different meanings: locking in the love, opening up to love and/or the ability to open up and be free.
I hope you will find one or more pieces in this gift guide that speaks to you about the person you are gifting. I also wish for you a holiday season will bring you peace, serenity, happiness and love wherever you are in the world. xo Coomi
